LOADS TO SAY
Saturday the 17th was the Craftin Outlaws show. It was fun & exhausting. I never went to bed the night before and the day was chocked full of events, I was mainly too exhausted to do them but somehow managed. First event of the day, of course, the Craftin Outlaws show…

After the show we started our Anniversary celebration at akai hana. Then we went and watched Where the Wild Things Are. After a much needed rest we started Sunday the 18th, another fun filled day of celebration. First stop, Waffle House, yum. Next stop, King’s Island!! It was cold so we were in layers, coats, gloves & hats. Cold weather = no lines!! woo!

On our way home from King’s Island I noticed our temperature gauge in the car was going over the mid point. We spent Monday the 19th at Pep Boys, barf. We will later find out that was a dumb choice. While roaming Florence, KY some girl rolled her window down to yell out to my hubby “sexy freakin boy.” lame. We did some shopping at the Florence Antique Mall, found some books, vintage eyeglass frames & a pressie for bff Ashley for her birfday. Bff Kaira & her bf rescued the day and ended up at Starbucks. After we picked up our car, Gray & I decided to go watch Whip It. After the movie we found out one of our sons, Darwin was having his first toothache. :(
Tuesday the 20th, Darwin’s jaw swelled up and had to be taken to the dentists. He has an abscessed tooth, poor thing. His surgery is December 9th, to remove it.
Skip to Friday the 23rd. Gray had a math/biology conference in Knoxville, TN and he presented the research he did last year to a group of math & biology nerds. While he was away my mum came for a visit. Saturday the 24th we took the kids shopping and playing at the mall. Mum left and Gray came home. Gray & I met up with Ethan & Cassie (our in-laws) at O’Charley’s for some din din. That night we noticed our temperature gauge was traveling again. Checked under the hood and there was antifreeze everywhere.
Sunday the 25 was filled with barfness & fun. We took the kids on a scavenger hunt and then took the car back to Pep Boys. They did not put enough oil in my car after giving it an oil change and they did not find the gigantic leak in my radiator after doing a coolant check for leaks. What?!? We decided to put the new radiator in ourselves. So my dad, mum & gizmo came for a visit to help Grayson put it in. Yesterday, the 26th, we put a new thermostat in our car, with phone guidance from my dad. Our check engine light is on so more car fixing adventures are planned this week.
Sorry for the huge update. Last few things… You can now purchase The Lovely Teaspoon merchandise at Sick For Cute. I will be doing the Craft Mafia show in Covington, Ky on November 28 & 29, more info to come. Befriend me on facebook. And RSVP to the Bazaar Bizarre show on facebook, I’m doing the West Side one.
